Well first of all, EXCEL stands for Excellence and Commitment at Elsinore. Basically, we got your back. From fresh off of student status to 4-way to head down and canopy piloting, we want to make sure you aren't losing your way as you get started and continue to grow in this sport. We've all been there: you don't know who to jump with, you don't know what you should be doing, and we want to keep you connected with your sky family here at Elsinore. EXCEL is all things continuing education at Skydive Elsinore.
We understand that the first couple hundred jumps are a battle. Trying to figure out how to fly with other people, stay on level, work on exits - it's all tough. Then there's freeflying. And canopy piloting. We want to make sure you're working with the best of the best here at Elsinore, so you can take full advantage of our awesome events and do it safely.
If you're fresh off of student status, start with an EXCEL basic camp. If you can already sit fly safely with at least one other person, check out a Freefly EXCEL camp. If you need to meet the B-License canopy proficiency requirements or if you just want to improve your skills once the freefall portion of your skydive is over, sign up for an EXCEL Canopy Flight course. We have it all for you, right here.
The EXCEL basic and freefly camps are free of charge - all we ask is that you RSVP in advance so we know how many coaches we need to bring out. We will cap the camps to make sure everyone gets an awesome experience. This keeps the jumper to coach ratio as small as possible, and keeps the camps free. The fee for the tunnel camps covers the tunnel time as well as professional coaching with some of Elsinore's finest. The fee for the canopy course covers your hop-n-pops as well as a video debrief of each jump and classroom instruction. We try to keep the costs as low as we can, and these courses are some of the best investments you can make in yourself as a new (and always improving) skydiver.
Welcome to Elsinore EXCEL. We're pumped to have you - and if you ever have any questions about the program, shoot Tracy an email firstname.lastname@example.org or give the DZ a call at 951-245-9939.
